    You can repair your QuickBooks company file using the Rebuild Data tool; follow these steps.

     

    • Head to the File menu, then hover over Utilities and select Rebuild Data.
    • Select OK on the QuickBooks Information window and let the tool repair your file. 
    • When the tool finishes, select OK and head to the File menu. 
    • Finally, let the tool check your file for data issues to end the process.
